Why Wonder is my Favorite Book

Wonder by R.J. Palacio is the best book ever written. It is a very well written and heartwarming story. The novel is about a young boy named Auggie Pullman. When Auggie was born he had facial deformity. Because of the way he looked it prevented him from going to public school with the other kids in his neighborhood. By the time Auggie reached the fifth grade, his parents decided it was time for him to go to school. If being the new kid wasn’t already hard enough, Auggie had to deal with a school schedule, bullies and trustworthy and untrustworthy friends. It was very difficult for Auggie to feel like he had a place in this world. The book teaches an amazing lesson to people, about how you should judge a book by its cover or in this case, a boy by his face. The book takes you on the adventures of Auggie Pullman and follow him as he conquers the obstacles coming his way. Since the release of Wonder there has been two more books written, 365 Days of Wonder and Auggie and Me. Also, they are making a Wonder movie, which is coming out November 17, 2017. Overall, this novel is fantastic, heartfelt and puts out a great lesson for our world.
