The Truth of "We Were Liars"

If you want a book that is constantly boring until the final pages, or a book where there are too many characters to remember, then this is the book for you! We Were Liars had potential but in the end disappointed me. The plot was too complicated and the big reveal at the very end left me confused and not wanting more. While trying to create a detailed story, the characters were too developed. After page 15 the book turned into more of a memoir rather than extending the suspension that the first few pages had provided. The main character Cadence often had hallucinations that confused the reader leaving them to wonder when the hallucinations stopped and the real book started. This book did take me on a roller coaster of emotions as I went from intrigued to bored, to disappointed and then back to bored. The author failed to make a book that was relatable to anyone and tried too hard to make the book interesting. Overall I would give the book 2 stars out of five  and I would not reco...

Ghost Review By Johnny

Ghost was an overall good book. It had mixes of action, Sad parts, and happy parts. The cliffhanger at the end makes me want to read the next book. I loved Ghost's rebellious side. I rate this book a 8.5/10. I recommend this book for teens like out age.

Fake I.D.

In my opinion I did not really enjoy this book because there were too many characters and a lot of confusion within.  I did like that it was a mystery book. Overall I give this 2.5 stars out of 5.

Ready Player One

Ready Player One is about a virtual reality world that was created by an inventor. The inventor created an easter egg and whoever found the three keys they were able get billions of dollars worth of money. The book was an amazing book. It allowed you to relate to your situation and Wades. It is a comical book with an edgy turn at every corner.

Claudia Trajgiel We Were Liars Blog

The novel We Were Liars was written by E. Lockhart. It was about a girl named Cady who suffered a head injury, causing her to lose many memories. She fell in love with a guy named Gat, but they had trouble getting together for many different reasons. Overall, I would give this book a 2 out 5 star rating because of how repetitive it was. The whole book was basically Cady receiving new memories and telling the reader them. Also, Gat and Cady's love life was very strange. They were always on and off and on and off, which made the book less interesting then it could have been. I really liked the introduction of the book because of all the detail, but then the book took a big detour. Especially the ending, where the author stated that all the Liars died except for her. This was stated in less than 5 pages. This was a big plot twist, and it was just so rushed. If readers still wanted to read this book, I would say go for it, but otherwise, I would recommend not too.

We Were Liars Review

We Were Liars is a book that was written by e.Lockhart. It is about a girl named Cadence Sinclair, in summer 15 she and her friend diced to burn down one of the houses on the family's privet island. Her friends are called the lairs, she went swimming an hit her head on a rock, she suffers a brain injury and she can't remember what happened. Slowly thought the book Cady remembers what happened that summer. I would give this book a 2 out of 5 stars because some parts of the book are extremely repetitive, and the ending of the book and very confusing.

Simon Review

The book Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, is an interesting yet loving book. This book has tons of romance for those who like reading about romance. As Simon meets an anonymous gay boy on Tumblr called Blue, their emails fall into the wrong hands. Simon gets blackmailed by Martin, a boy who wanted to date Simon's friend Abby. I definitely recommend this book to any audience because this is not a hard level book. It had a cliche ending but gives readers the happy ending everyone wants. I give this book 9 out of 10 stars. The only thing I recommend for this book is for more drama because it doesn't really sound realistic since in high school there is a lot of drama.

Ghost Review

Overall I really liked the book Ghost by Jason Reynolds. It was a book that was very relatable to real life and it shows the Main character Ghost develop and become a better person.  I would've liked the ending to go further into the race, but that is the only thing I would've liked to change. Otherwise I really enjoyed the short but sweet read Ghost.

Dhahabo-The Golden Boy

Golden Boy overall was an amazing book because it had a compilation of drama and action and many descriptions. Habo the main character is an albino who has to go through may adventures including feeling alone. Overall this is a very great book and I feel it would be great for others to read because it shows a lot of every aspect of life.

Review of Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda

I would rate Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Abertalli an 8/10. The book was very enthusiastic and fun to read. The author did an amazing job developing the characters, especially Simon. It allowed us to understand Simon's journey and what he went through. Also, the book was very well written and allowed the reader to feel for Simon and the other characters. However, at some points in the book, it wasn't as interesting. Other than that, the book was outstanding and I would definitely recommend it.

Book Review of Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda

The Book, Simon vs. The Home Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli was very good. For me personally, I think the lesson that was learned was to accept people for who they are. I enjoyed hw the book had emails between Blue and Simon in between chapters, to make it more dramatic. One thing I would want in the novel, is a summary in the end and not a cliffhanger of Simon and Bram's relationship. The rating I would give this book 4 stars out of 5.

Ghost By Jason Reynolds

Overall I really liked Ghost it was a very interesting story about Ghost who has anger issues he has to face his problems head on to stay on the Track Team. I would give it 5 stars and I recommend the book its a very interesting pageturner.

The War That Saved My Life

So far in the book Ada, our main character, is living with a grumpy woman named Susan Smith because WWII is coming to London so she and her brother had to flee. Ada is teaching herself how to ride her horse, Butter, and is learning new things about the world and new vocabulary.  Her brother Jamie is not loving the life in the country and is complaining about wanting to go home even though going back home to their mom would mean living in poverty and being abused. This book is pretty slow and gets boring in the middle. I, personally, don't recommend this book because most of the characters, like Ada and Jamie, are pretty unlikeable.

Ghost

In pages, 53-76 Castle gets punished for missing school. Coach makes him run and Ghost gets tired. Coach makes them do the ladder which is 100 M 200M and 300M Our groups like the book, it is unpredictable and has twists and turns. It is also a relatable real-life situation. Although we may not see these situations around here they really do occur in other places.

We Were Liars (Ashley, Claudia, Ellie & Summer)

We Were Liars is written by e. lockhart. The Sinclair family goes to a private island every summer, off the coast of Massachusetts. In summer 15, Cadence suffers brain damage because of an accident. When she was swimming she hit her head on a rock. This changes her life so much. She has many problems with her family and friends, especially Gat. She loves him, but she has conflicting emotions on the reality of their relationship. We as a group rate this group 3.75 stars because it is good at some points, but Cady's and Gat's relationship is very repetitive. We look forward to see what this book has to offer and how the plot will keep changing while we read.
